Pros

- Good if you need just enough money to survive, I guess. - You get your steps in. - You get an annual allowance to buy stuff they sell. They do sell some cool dog apparel and accessories

Cons

- Tedious, boring work picking and fulfilling orders. - Minimum wage pay, bennies you can't afford, little PTO. Coworkers are toxic male meatheads because it's all they can afford to hire. Even the C-suite money dude was complaining about how mid his pay was. - Drafty, barely insulated warehouse that got frigid cold in winter and sweaty hot in summer. - Being a small, old business, everything is paper-based, so you're running around this warehouse with paper on a clipboard fulfilling orders by pen. Also, since the majority of the products are made in the shop the warehouse is attached to, there's no identification beyond a company tag. So yeah, you fulfill all these orders with pen and paper as you sort through bins full of hundreds of unmarked leashes of different sizes to pick out a handful of items. Cool. - Didn't shut down during COVID just told everyone to be careful when people would get sick. - It's apparel for LEO K9 units and whatever, but then they have the bootlicking LEO-worshipping junk they buy and sell because they think it's funny or whatever. Punisher patches and stickers and everything. - One day of training and then you have to plead for feedback on performance, will just fire you when you make enough stupid, small mistakes, I guess. That's okay because you'll wish you had quit earlier. Turnover is high, of course. - Your performance will always be measured against some golden child they had years ago who apparently could pick, pack and ship a billion orders a minute and only worked there for the fun of it. - Always yelled at as a team because of our results, never an investigation of what process was causing the issues they didn't like, so we just kept getting yelled at. - Owned by some private equity group that has no vision to improve the company or update it for the 21st century, they're just successful enough to open credit lines against their assets and revenue for whatever thing PE firms do. - Bad job.
