Worst experience of my nursing career
Pros
Wage Facility Potential Pleasant front desk greeter
Cons
If I could rate this building less than 1 star, I would. Island Health owned by Radiant is chalk full of rude and non caring nurses and support staff with no sense of team work. The good staff does not last because there are too many staff that are ugly at everyone and push them out. They offer bonuses to get staff in and then do not pay as agreed. There is no system for Orientation or training. The house keeping and maintenance is horrid; leaving patient areas wreaking like urine and garbage. There are roof leaks, broken Wall AC units and cockroaches in common areas and patient rooms and throughout building. Care of patients is continually delayed and compromised due to staff claiming to complete task, in charting, that they never actually perform. New patient assessments and admissions are not completed accurately or timely causing very concerning errors in care. There are extremely insufficient reporting procedures and communication breakdowns between all clinical workers. This building is dangerous to patients and needs a complete review and overhaul of staff in all departments.
