Pros

Competitive pay. Little oversight and supervision. Tons of free time to exploit. Small group. Slow start-up, slow growth. Investor driven.

Cons

Unfocused leadership, no accountability, no organizational structure, the company cannot pay its bills, Leadership can be lazy, cruel and child-like, Manager & ownership berates and verbally abuses support, unusually high turnover, boring, no real work being done, unproductive and oppressive work environment. No career growth and development possible.

In response to the poor review left by a former employee that was terminated after working for RESSCO less than 2 months, it is necessary that RESSCO respond to these misleading and false comments. The facts are that RESSCO is a company that has been in business for over 13 years. We have grown consistently over the last 13 years from $1 million to $30 million in annual revenue and from 2 to 90 employees. RESSCO is still growing and expanding our services in Michigan and beyond. We reward employees that work hard and deliver results. We also hold employees accountable that do not work hard or deliver results; however, we are always fair to our employees. The company has grown over the last 13 years due to a culture that is results driven, honest, hardworking, accountable and fair. Those that have worked for a growing company understand that the entire team wears multiple hats and you must go above and beyond your job function to deliver results. Moreover, lack of consistent effort gets noticed quickly at a growing firm. If you are playing on the phone and getting paid for it, it will get noticed and it will not be tolerated. However, an employee that embraces RESSCO Core Values and delivers results will succeed and be rewarded. We try to choose those individuals that will help RESSCO grow and thrive, in turn we provide excellent pay, benefits, and growth opportunities. Pros

n/a not a one, nota. I have to write 20 words in this box, otherwise it would be blank. Awful company, disappointed in the owner I thought he was different.

Cons

Everything? they can't pay their bills. and by that I mean everything.. I.E. Contractor(s), BWL, consumers (no hot water in apartments due to it being shut off often. The company does not invest in their properties for example Autumn ridge. They do NOT value their staff no matter the performance. they offer a $685 rent credit after 90 days of service which is complete BULL. I worked there over 6 months with not as little as an answer on IF my rent credit was approved let alone a move in date. Don't trust the executive team, they only care about numbers. Management will call you out your name behind your back, specific management clicks and you can tell. The property upkeep is awful, and maintenence has to be creative due to no parts and having to use their own tools. do not, I repeat do not work for ressco. The turn over ratio is horrendous, no one stays there more than a year at absolute most(including RESIDENTS and EMPLOYEES). save your time.

To the former employee that felt the need to make false and inaccurate statements about the business practices of RESSCO, we demand that you cease and desist by way of this response. As you know, you did not meet our requirements to receive an apartment because you were disciplined and eventually released for attendance issues. As your offer letter clearly stated, your housing benefit was contingent on a satisfactory performance review. You did not obtain a satisfactory performance review because your attendance for your first 90 days was unacceptable. RESSCO has been in business for over 13 years and we have nurmerous long term employees that are very happy. Hard working individuals like working for RESSCO because we reward employees that are reliable and deliver results. Sincerely, Human Resources

Actions speak volumes! You will get a paycheck. If you end up feeling something isn't right, or you are not treated well, and you stay....it's your fault.

Cons

The economy is good right now, good people aren't going to stay around a company that they feel doesn't value them.

RESSCO has been in business for 15 years and our continuous growth is evidence that our company is successful. We pride ourselves on creating a positive environment for our employees. However, as a growing company, the pace is face and is not suitable for anyone that does not want to work hard. We wish all former employees the best in their future endeavors.
