ok but still a start up

Pros

- lots of autonomy to make your mark if you want more freedom - there are some talented and nice people - not much process so decisions can be made quickly - leaders have good relationships in the industry - a lot of built in brand awareness

Cons

- most of the company are quite junior, don't have exp from other software companies, just what they're told - leadership is out of touch and mainly care about their idea or emergency of the week - overestimated product market fit - bad internal communication - a lot of micromanagement across the board because more junior staff are scared to make decisions - decision making is opaque, opinion based and random with no consultation - targets are made up based on fantasy not data

Pros

- Inspiring leadership - Genuinely fun environment - Lots of opportunity to learn and grow - Flexible working arrangements This company is still scaling but retains a lot of it's original start up ethos. If you want a big corporate with large scale waterfall projects and many layers of management this is not the place for you. If you genuinely care for customers and are happy to pitch in and work as a team to get things done you will fit in well.

Cons

- Can be pretty intense at times, there is always a lot happening but it keeps you on your toes!
