Pros

Some of the employees are nice... designing the clothes could be cool if the art direction weren't awful.

Cons

Run as far away as you can from this company. The two co-owners, Phil and Jon are total self-absorbed jerks, lie constantly to make money, and all of the employees despise them. As the only attractive female in the office, I was treated very differently than the males in the office in many ways including; getting paid less than I deserved, being spoken down to, and after nearly two years I had been reduced to a secretary presumably because I am a woman and it seemed like the bosses think women handle paperwork while the men do the heavy lifting. To add to the misogyny, while I was working there, they bought the license to "Penthouse" and produced shirts of nearly naked sex worker females and tried to sell them to female buyers with very little success. The co-owners have based their business model on lies - lying to factories to get cheaper prices, lying to buyers to get extensions, lying in every press release saying "Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus are loyal customers" when in actuality, only 1 or 2 celebrity gets sighted in Reason Clothing per year and it is because the PR team pays them to wear the garment. There are 2 illegal aliens working full time at Reason Clothing. The marketing team consists of 1 person and before working at Reason they worked for 3 years as a retail associate at PacSun... lol! None of the designers had attended design school or had ever worked with any major brand aside from me, but I was treated like the rookie designer because I was the only female. The bosses bark orders out their office door and make no effort to get to know or actually be friendly with their employees. The turnaround rate is very high, someone quit every month it felt like. One time I walked out because the owner was trying to get me to make a phone call where I would be lying to another girls face about our business. On black friday, they faked a "website crash". The brand is constantly in trouble for sending out orders late and many large retail stores have blacklisted Reason for their poor reputation. Everyone who works there wants to quit, as soon as the bosses leave the office people start taking smack on them. 5 days off per year is basically a violation of human rights. No dental, no vision, no 401k. No summer fridays, no office gatherings or other perks. And don't even get me started on the design direction... the owner had zero taste in fashion and the signature brand aesthetic is CORNY and DOWNTRENDING. Do not work here, you will hate your life! Worst place I have ever worked for! And incredibly low pay!

Pros

Great benefits but you can find another job with the same benefits, so I advise you to look elsewhere.

Cons

Remember ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS, trust me the owners do not go by that at all because all they do is talk and make promises. When I started they made it seem like the company was THAT company also making it seem like it’s a great company to work at and the environment is great. Everything they said to me about the company was a lie. Management is really unorganized. Owners will act like they are on your side but they not on your side. This company is a male dominated company but you will think you’re working with a bunch of females from how majority of the men act. There was this one particular man instead of confronting me about his issue with me, he went around talking negative about me to other employees. Are we back in high school, I didn’t think so we are all grown adults if you have an issue confront the person. When I did my research there was this one negative review about this company on Glassdoor and I looked right passed it because the good out weighed the bad. That negative review was a sign and a red flag to not join the company. Remember to pay attention to a negative review it will help you in the long run. I hope this review can help someone out there. Do not work at this company.
