Genuine hardworking staffs rewarded with more works, responsibilities and scolding with no reward.
All they did are to blame the newbie for the management mistakes and poor planning by all means and make sure to highlight it and broadcast aloud so others know. If it is within them, they will swipe it under the carpet.
One of the senior management even asked to cover management wrong did entries by not provide certain documents to some external party (auditor) that asked for which will reveal the wrong.
The senior management also spend time to think how to make trouble to others.
Super Slackers/Quiet Quitters and Serious Office Politic (Making Works more Difficult) and these staffs are at high level. Totally absurd, nonsense, ridiculous. Only screwed-up management will hire these lousy persons to become manager and CFO.
Big mistake. This led to my most (and hopefully my last) unpleasant working experience, by far, in my entire career.
