Pros

Salary is fair for the work performed. Can sometimes get away with not doing much work when leads and managers not paying proper attention to us.

Cons

- First experience of the company is a weak training program that fails to equip staff with the skills they require or adequate system knowledge. If you are an agency worker whose face does not fit you will be asked to leave and not return. Trainer is racist, sexist and discriminatory in his remarks. Repeatedly felt unsafe in his training room and environment. - Poor/non existent management. Team leads are young with no experience in the industry or promoted from within with lack of talent. Will make situations will passengers worse. Cannot allocate staff responsibly. Duty officers are inexperienced and out of their depth, most come from internal progression of checkin with no understanding of proper HR/company process - No backbone/support structure. The company admin manager is part-time and works from home with little engagement. Never received contract from her. There is no HR Manager, the previous one quit and described the organisation as 'Unmanageable'. There is no back-office team or support structure in place. - Planning is dreadful. You will be on a 4 on, 2 off rota working 9hr shifts, though these regularly extend to 12-14hrs as they are severely understaffed. Your first day on is an early so you will start anywhere from 1am to 5am (good luck enjoying that second day off) and your first day off is usually spent recovering. Holiday will never be approved. - Amateur Operations. The company is just amateur in nature. Important documents and signage is printed from a cheap consumer black and white printer on the back of scrap paper. No forms/paper trail exists for anything. One email address is used for everything. No usage of radios or communication - the management will call your personal phone for anything and everything, even on days off. No line manager. No probation meetings. No performance reviews or feedback. No uniform - want to wear your North Face puffer jacket on check-in? That's perfectly acceptable! - Favoritism and Nepotism. Several staff are related including team leads daughters working on the same team and relationships between managers and agents. You will be a favorite and get away with anything, or an outcast that's made to feel unwelcome. Want to board a flight or be airside? That will be the favorites' only. - Deceitful culture. Documents are forged, faked and the company's contracts are held together on a string of lies. You will lie to customers. They lie to airlines and the airport. You will be the glue that holds together the fake operation. - Pensions. Good luck. You pay into a private pension pot that is spent by the company on staying afloat. No recognised pension scheme where you can track your contributions or see their contributions: Fraud. - No progression: Unless you're a favorite you will stay an agent and they will bring in more team leads from outside the business who do not know anything.

Pros

Wages aren’t bad considering other airport jobs

Cons

Management don’t listen and don’t care. Pension money taken from staff but not paid into pension company accounts. This is fraud.
