We are very concerned with the issues that you have raised regarding the honesty of our employees. We strive to be a highly ethical company and would terminate any employee that was taking kickbacks from our installers. Would you please share with me confidentially, the names of the individuals involved and details so that we can do an investigation? Without any details as to who is involved (warehousemen, operations managers, etc.) or form of payment (cash?, check?) and method of payment (on payday or at other times), we have no place to begin our search. As you can probably guess, if this is going on, the other installers would be unwilling to share details, just as you might be. For us to bring it to an end we need someone brave enough to give us enough information to root out the bad apples. We hope that is you. If you would set up an anonymous email account at Gmail or Yahoo and send me the details, I would be most appreciative. Most items of this nature do not get reported because people feel that management already knows. I can assure you this is not the case. We need your help. Pros

In today’s world with other great companies out there taking care of their people…..none. No Pro’s.

Cons

4 GM’s in 4 years. That should tell you a lot. No leadership from GM’s all the way up the chain. The CEO in other reviews ask why didn’t you reach out before? Well, I did, twice with my concerns and none of them were even addressed whatsoever. Commission only position and if the branch ruins your accounts because of poor quality, oh well, less money for you. No accountability from management. They posted my job on LinkedIn 4 days before Christmas…yea, they care about there employees. You literally have to buy with your money all the tools needed for the job. You have to use your personal cell phone for their business purposes. You have to buy the laser measuring device and laptop just to do your job. The place is literally a joke. Read the other reviews and don’t believe a thing of the response that the company will have to this to try and save face. By the way, I had my best year ever this year, was number 4 in the company for REO sales and hit my yearly budget. I made the President’s Circle twice but never got the Mexico trip that was promised. HR doesn’t exist. Not for you anyway.

We are in agreement that you reached out to HR and me twice, and that you were on track to achieve your annual sales goal, but that’s all we agree about. Both times you contacted me you received constructive responses. Still, unfortunately, instead of recognizing the role you played by being insubordinate and disrespectful to your management team, you chose to blame everyone else and accept no responsibility. It is unacceptable to not show up for sales meetings without getting prior approval from your GM or decline to meet with your RVP when he was in town and requested a face-to-face meeting. As for your sales, you were indeed running ahead of budget for the first half of the year, but your results began to lag in the third quarter seriously. Both your revenue and the number of active accounts were off by well over 50% from the previous quarters. Instead of recognizing the issue, you focused on past accomplishments, failed to acknowledge the negative trend, and made no effort to work with your team to turn it around. I also find it interesting that you mention “no accountability from management” when referring to others but refuse to accept any responsibility for your own actions. In our second communication, I specifically shared with you that your management team was not trying to push you out but working with you to set a plan and goals to help you be successful. I also asked you to realize that making the decision to move well outside of our service area and staying home to watch your children versus being out in the field prospecting for business was why you were running substantially off track. Lastly, as for making President’s Club and not having an opportunity to attend the trip, unfortunately, COVID caused us to postpone our last two. If you remained an employee, you would have joined us on our April trip due to your previous awards, even though you were not on track to earn the trip in 2021. As you grow and mature in the next chapter of your career, I hope that you learn accountability and accept responsibility for your actions. - Brian Caress, CEO.

Pros

When I started, the hours were somewhat flexable as long as the work got done.

Cons

Pay is horrible. Poor training, if you get training. No consistency. Work environment is toxic. Management does not have your back nor stand for what is right. Bullying among peers is common. Abslutely full of clicks. No professionalism. Company does not care about you at all. Too many fake people.

Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with Redi Carpet. Having a professional work environment where our team is treated with the utmost respect has been one of our core values since the company was founded. Your feedback was very concerning so I immediately began an investigation into the issues you raised and did uncover a few minor issues, but I found that a substantial amount of challenges our team was having, went away upon your departure. Our company does not tolerate any form of bullying. Our staff is the reason for our success, and we would never do anything to jeopardize their well-being. Nonetheless, we will use your feedback to improve our company. I wish you all the best. – Brian Caress, CEO.
