Pros

* Reejig boasts a prominent online presence and has recognition through multiple awards. * Some friendly and talented folks have worked here.

Cons

* Despite the company's slogan ("Zero Wasted Potential”), the organisation has conducted significant layoffs of skilled staff, resulting in instability and employee dissatisfaction.
 * Pervasive long working hours, unrealistic expectations and a tendency to disregard estimates have led to a lack of work-life balance and widespread burnout. The company's push for rapid delivery and constant scope creep compromise quality and the workforce’s well-being. This also leaves little room for employee growth and development.
 * Feedback is often encouraged using phrases like “Feedback is a gift”. However, those who dare to provide feedback tend to leave or disappear, creating a culture of fear and inhibiting open communication.
 * Compensation falls below market rates, making attracting and retaining top talent challenging and potentially impacting overall productivity.
 * Ignoring user research and relying solely on the founders’ intuition may hinder the company's ability to meet customer needs effectively and retain skilled talent.
 * Despite assurances of financial stability until 2025, continued layoffs raise doubts about the company's actual financial health. * Frequent employee departures without official announcements contribute to an environment of uncertainty and instability.

Toxic environment focused on marketing clout rather than customer success

Pros

I met some amazing people while working at Reejig, all of whom have left or were let go.

Cons

My time at Reejig left me fairly traumatised. There was no psychological safety and an internal hierarchy reminiscent of a high school clique. With regular gaslighting, a culture of fear and employees regularly terminated for having feedback or ideas that didn't match leadership, Reejig has successfully built a toxic work environment. Unfortunately, Reejig is great at marketing hype and gaining meritless awards - creating a false narrative that does not reflect internal values or product capability. Senior leaders promote the idea that the product is perfect, it's just the customers who don't know how to use it. With a lack of startup and product development knowledge in leadership, the approach and decisions are haphazard, risky and not delivering value. Expect to abandon best practice and all knowledge and experience you have in how to build successful products in order to do it their way. The marketing spin does a great job of projecting a purpose-driven and values aligned organisation, but the real values can be seen through the poor decision making and scapegoating of employees. Or take a look at the fake reviews here to understand how this organisation likes to operate.

Sinking ship

Pros

Somehow they managed to hire amazing talent and really great personalities. However, most of them have been made redundant, resigned, or have checked out looking for a new opportunity.

Cons

As the other reviews fairly say, this company is desperately in need of new management. The current leadership team has no idea how to execute a vision for which there is clearly a lot of market opportunity even in those tough economic conditions. It is supposed to be a start-up where talent is given space to experiment, but none of that is given. It's a constant uphill battle trying to prove to the leadership that 2+2 is 4. Provided no drastic changes are made to how the business is run, it is very likely to run out of funds and cease to operate. It is likely to be a sad outcome for Reejig. The opportunity and the funding were there, but so much effort and resources have been wasted on initiatives not resulting in any outcome. Other reviews accurately mention extremely high attrition. Half of the staff who were there a year ago are no longer at Reejig. You do the maths. Unless you are desperate for a job, I do not recommend joining Reejig.
