Pros

Some good sales reps, some good techs and other project coordinators to work with. - If you have a heartbeat, your job is secure, brains are optional!

Cons

I could write a novel about this place and it would be titled “ You Can’t Make This S&@! Up” -There is No true leadership throughout this organization. It’s hard to get anyone at this place to make a decision and stick with it… the message can change the next day. -The communication is a joke and they don’t believe in professionalism. -If you are a woman, forget being taken seriously. -The methods and computer systems are from the 1990’s. Too many manual processes. -No documented SOP’s (standard operating procedures) which is unheard in this industry! -Training is a disgrace. You learn trial by error. Managers do not know how to do this job. Again, no consistency in training, no real training manual! -No consistency in how to do the job. People in other departments can change the process on a whim and management allows it to happen. There is no accountability to other departments for their ineptitude. Only PC’s are held to higher standards, which means you are set up to fail. -Some managers shouldn’t be in their positions due to lack of knowledge, respect and no understanding how to lead their regions. They need to read “Management for Dummies” -The turnover is high… wonder why???

Pros

The environment is laid-back. Great work/life balance – absolutely nothing is expected of you when you’re outside of the office. Mostly everyone in the office hates working for Rees Scientific, so you build bonds and friendships with your coworkers. Pay is always on time. Opportunity to work with big-name pharma/hospital/blood bank customers.

Cons

Headquarters is extremely disorganized. No one knows who does what, and the wrong responsibilities fall on the wrong people. The policies are outdated, and they seem to change on a daily basis. Tasks and shipping schedules are poorly prioritized and managed, leaving the field staff without the proper equipment to do their job. The owner is much disengaged, and upper management would prefer it stay that way. Upper management plays favorites, resulting in unqualified people getting placed in supervisory positions. There’s hardly any direction, and answers are as clear as mud. The Sales Reps are treated like kings, making everyone else to feel less important. There are hardly any good-quality employees; just when you think you met the most incompetent of them all, another one strolls in and snatches first place. They do not take the time to search for decent candidates, nor do they want to invest in anyone, aside from upper management and the chosen ones, of course. Because no one feels appreciated, valued, or respected, the doors just keep spinning. Overworked and underpaid is an understatement when referring to Rees Scientific. If you do decide to accept an offer, use your time here as a stepping stone. This is not somewhere you want to work for the rest of your days.

Pros

There are no good reasons to work here at all. The company is very unorganized, backwards no standard operating procedures and they treat you like you are just a number on an assembly line and talk to you like your dirt with no respect. The owner of the company is so disengaged from his own company and is never told by Upper management what really goes on in the day to day operations of his own company what a joke.

Cons

Down sides are easy to bring up.. Attitude of upper management is rude disrespectful and arrogant and quite unprofessional to work for No professional guidance from immediate supervisor no real Standard operating procedures they seem to make them up as they go. Systems to work on are outdated by 15 years. Morale is low over worked and promised pay increases and salary is about $6000.00 to $8000.00 under the norm for project coordinators in the real world. The way to make this place better .. change up the upper management in the company and bring in new leadership that is not part of the VP men's club then you will see the company really grow in the direction it should its the upper management team that is bringing this company down and creating so much Churn they simply just don't care about anything but themselves. Very bad place to work.
