The job itself is okay with training in different roles. If you want more work there’s plenty of overtime available because they can’t retain staff, unsurprisingly.

Cons

Toxic work culture from the top down. Just read any media release from Rex and you will see how unprofessional they truly are. Management are happy to let you know you are just an easily replaceable number. No flexibility. Rostering is abysmal. Be prepared to work 5-7 days in a row on a part-time basis. Quality staff are overworked and under appreciated.

1 - Everyone leaves after a few months of starting 2 - it is a dead end job unless you are good at kissing a.... 3 - the pay is worst in the industry compare to the same position with different companies in the industry, you do more work, but getting paid less 4 - no EBA, you are expected to do everything but your pay is same with others who does less than you

I had some really great colleagues.

Cons

Salaries below industry standard combined with perceived consistent very high workload. Significant staff turnover. Essentially, people seem to use REX to get a foot into Aviation, then leave as soon as a better opportunity arises.
