Executive team is a mess. Bertelsman needs to clean house and get some people in here that have a solid vision that they can stick with. The company has taken a drastic turn for the worse since the current CEO has taken over. His poor people skills have become viral amongst the executive leadership team. There is no job security with this company, thay make rash decisions lay off people with no solid plans, whatever plans they did have change continually. The organization chart changes weekly (it seems). They planned a reduction in force for some people 12 - 18 months in advance pending new AI tools that did not deliver on time, yet people still lost their jobs. This is one company that is looking to replace whoever they can by AI. Company has lost any personal touch. RUN (do not walk) as fast as you can away from this company.

Management changes and inconsistent communication made it hard at times to feel stable or aligned. Priorities and expectations were not always clear, and career growth paths could have been communicated better. Engineering work could also become stressful when requirements changed, feedback was slow, or team capacity was limited.
