      Pros

      Christmas party, barbecue in back of factory occasionally. Relaxed work environment. Friendly Co-workers. Cool product, good part of town to work in. not bad for an early career job.

      Cons

      Tough to keep up. No opportunities for advancement. Very low pay for technical staff. Hazardous/dirty/disorganized work environment. Work is often re-prioritized multiple times over without allowing completion or concentration. Interruptions are endless.

      Pros

      - The product and service is of the highest caliber in the industry. - The owners care about the environmental and social impacts of their business. The Brooklyn factory is LEED Gold Certified. - Educational and networking opportunities are regularly provided and supported. - The people who work there are creatively inclined and typically well-read. You're surrounded by smarties. - There are opportunities to learn and grow even outside of your department if you show initiative and desire. - The owners will know your name and care about your well-being. - There's a company garden. - There are good bunch of employees that have been there for years and years. Turnover is pretty low. - The business has been around since 1996 so it's well established and respected in the industry.

      Cons

      - It can be frustrating that many initiatives take a long time to come to fruition because it is a relatively small company and there limited resources. - Some of the technology is dated. - Starting wages can be low, but there are opportunities for regular reviews and pay advancements. - Directives from management are sometimes unclear
