Pros
It gave me experience in the defense and manufacturing industry. I had the chance to learn about different engineering materials such as steel, titanium, aluminum, and superalloys. It improved my technical research, testing, and reporting skills. I gained a better understanding of production processes, quality requirements, and industrial working discipline. Working there helped me see how engineering knowledge is applied in real projects.
Cons
The work environment could sometimes feel unstable because the company went through downsizing. At one point, they reduced the workforce and dismissed many employees at the same time. This situation created some uncertainty about long-term job security. Because of this restructuring, the continuity of projects and the working atmosphere could be affected.
