At Resolute Digital we take our employee feedback extremely seriously. We’re very concerned about this negative review and would like to take a moment to point out some processes and facts that may shed some light and provide a different perspective on the environment, culture, management, and overall success of the company. First, we sincerely hope there was some sharing of any constructive feedback with your manager proactively and on a regular basis as we always encourage through regular formal and informal reviews and conversation. Second, we take great pride in the extreme above-average tenure of our employees. On average our full-time employees have stayed with us for over 6 years which is largely unheard of in this industry or any industry in modern times. In addition, while, yes, we have a stocked kitchen and a relatively young staff, we have seen significant growth both as a company and within our employee base. Many of our first employees are still with us, have grown up the ranks, and are now directors of their groups. As a relatively young business, often operating with a startup-type culture, we have always relied on hiring young and smart employees then investing significant time in training and mentoring. The result of which has been significant opportunity and growth for well deserving, loyal, hard working, and high performing employees. As a company we have seen significant growth—been included in the Inc 5000 fastest growing companies—twice—and have recently been acquired by Weber Shandwick a leading global PR firm within Interpublic Group, the global holding company. While there are always some struggles we have seen more success than failure and have been able to evolve as as a company as the market has. This is a testament to our management team, the directors of our groups, and our dedicated employees.

Pros

You'll learn how to not run a business and why it's important to have a goo technical management structure in place.

Cons

The company makes its money by bidding on projects no one else wants and paying their workers the lowest price possible. Don't worry about a 401k, extra days off for working 60 hours a week, or even a review, because here those things affect their bottom line. You'll work in an environment with no project managers, no lead developers, where the client continually is allowed to make changes up to the last minute, and if you can't finish on time its your fault. The only thing missing from Resolute is a donation center for workers or clients to donate to the Resolute employees as Walmart does because it doesn't pay its employees enough.

Pros

Agency work allows you to have a high turnover of projects, so you can constantly refine your fundamentals and explore new technologies. Coworkers all had a solid grasp of their area and generally worked well together to get things done on time.

Cons

A solid lack of management and a lack of good work ethics far outweigh any of the positives. Project managers have no prior industry experience and double duty as QA. Management is willing to expand scope on a project, upping the requirements for producers, without changing deadlines. Former employees were cheated out of part of their salary upon leaving the company. Management is hard focussed on the bottom line (their bottom line) and don't care too much how that affects employees as they're always willing to get more - expect a high turnover rate.
