Pros

Nothing that I can think of

Cons

When considering Resonate Solutions, two aspects come to mind that need improvement: - Addressing the absence of an HR department, negatively impacting organisational culture. - Mitigating the perception of a nepotistic approach in recruitment processes. Resonate Solutions is currently in a growth phase, but it still carries the feeling of a family business, which leads to specific issues within the organisation. One notable concern is the C+ executives and their micromanagement practices; this negatively impacts the morale and self-esteem of team members. While the upper management may excel in their field, this does not necessarily make them experts in other business areas. Team trust is needed to maintain autonomy and positively impact morale. The absence of an established HR department directly affects team members and leaves the organisational culture lacking. It has been observed that some new hires are chosen based on their relationships with C+ executives rather than their skills or experience, indicating a potential nepotistic practice. Additionally, a common occurrence during the recruitment process is hiring interns alongside individuals with visa needs, allowing management to manipulate and control team members easily. The company has an alarmingly high number of interns without the proper systems and tools to train and support them in their career paths. Consequently, team members often find themselves overworked, stressed, and overwhelmed. I experienced a constant sense of being threatened, talked down to, and controlled, preventing me from showcasing my best work or expressing myself freely. The need for more transparency during the recruitment phase was particularly frustrating. Had I been aware of the nepotistic practices and the relationships involved when recruiting upper management, I would have reconsidered accepting the offer. This unfair treatment becomes more pronounced without an HR department to address concerns. There are no more viable options than seeking a resolution from the CEO directly. Another issue that deserves attention is the high employee turnover rate (which is incredibly high). It's crucial not to be swayed solely by positive reviews and to pay attention to the negative ones, as I find them trustworthy. Anyone considering an offer from Resonate Solutions should think carefully before deciding. Take the time to weigh the potential downsides and consider the impact on your professional growth and job satisfaction.

Pros

Honestly, none - CEO is a bully with stupid expectations and yells at people.. has no people skills, can't read a room.. Yes has a brain but perhaps stick to what you are good at.. people management is not it.

Cons

This place is an absolute disaster, A toxic wasteland of incompetence and disregard for its employees and customers. From the moment you step through the doors (if you dare), you're greeted with an overwhelming stench of corporate greed and disdain. You are lucky to even get a hello in the mornings. Let's start with the work environment – a soul-sucking abyss where ambition and creativity go to die. The "leadership team" is a collection of egomaniacs who thrive on micromanagement and power trips. It's as if they took a masterclass in demoralising their workforce. Employee morale? Non-existent. It's like working in a dystopian nightmare where every day feels like a never-ending battle against the forces of darkness. CX company that doesn't even run their own employee experience surveys.... Let that one sink in. Communication within the company is a joke. Transparency? Forget about it. They operate in a perpetual state of secrecy, leaving employees in the dark about crucial decisions that directly impact their lives. Basically, stay far, far away from Resonate. A realm where aspirations meet their demise. Save yourself the trouble and find a company that values its employees, respects its customers, and operates with a shred of decency. Resonate is a sinking ship, and anyone with a sense of self-preservation should jump overboard before it drags them down into the depths of reality. Also the staff turnover is laughable.. over 40 left in 2023..

Pros

- Team Spirit: One positive aspect worth mentioning is the sense of camaraderie among the team members. However, this is under constant threat due to high turnover rates. - Diversity & Inclusion: The company does manage to maintain a diverse team from all corners of the globe, cultivating an inclusive culture. - Visa Assistance: The management has a commendable approach towards assisting employees with visa and work authorizations. - Work Flexibility: The company's location and the option of remote work can be considered convenient.

Cons

- Employee Turnover: Alarmingly high employee churn is a pressing issue. Besides a select few, most employees' tenure doesn't extend beyond two years, indicating serious retention issues. Prepare to constantly onboard new faces and bear with frequent handovers, which may disrupt workflow and productivity. Leadership: The CEO and CTO are characterized by severe micromanagement tendencies and resistance to any criticism. This authoritarian leadership style lacks the professionalism one would expect at this level. More concerning is their tendency to blame employees for failures rather than accepting accountability. This attitude undoubtedly contributes to the company's high turnover rate and causes unnecessary emotional stress. - Market: Despite its presence in the dynamic CX market, the company fails to fully leverage the sector's vibrant and evolving opportunities. - Market Competition: The company has previously capitalized on the absence of US competitors in Australia. However, as this landscape changes, the future looks uncertain. This volatile scenario may result in management pushing employees to their limits to maximize short-term profits before a potential sale. - HR Function: The absence of a formal HR department creates a significant gap in employee support systems, leaving employees with no dedicated entity to address their concerns or seek advice.
