Pros

- Impactful Work & Purpose: As a former Operations Manager in Responsible Cyber, my work directly contributed to protecting clients from real and evolving threats. This sense of purpose can be highly motivating and rewarding. - Continuous Learning & Skill Development: The cybersecurity landscape is constantly changing. This means you're always learning about new threats, technologies, and best practices. Responsible Cyber, as an innovative company with AI-enhanced products (IMMUNE X-TPRM and IMMUNE GRC), likely provides ample opportunities to work with cutting-edge tools and methodologies. - Problem-Solving & Innovation: The nature of cyber threats demands creative problem-solving and the ability to adapt quickly. As an Operations Manager, you'd be at the forefront of developing and implementing solutions. - Working with a Global Team: Responsible Cyber, being based in Singapore with an international team, likely offers exposure to diverse perspectives and global security challenges.

Cons

- High Stress & Pressure: The nature of cybersecurity operations inherently involves high stakes. Managing incidents, ensuring uptime, and preventing breaches can be incredibly stressful, requiring constant vigilance and quick decision-making. - Resource Constraints: Even in high-growth companies, operations teams can face challenges with limited budgets, staffing, or tools, requiring creative solutions to maintain effective security.

Pros

Responsible Cyber is a mission-driven company focused on cybersecurity. The team is international and friendly, and you work on important projects like ISO 27001 and risk management. The CEO is very passionate and involved, inspiring everyone with a clear goal and strong commitment to making a difference. From day one, you are trusted with responsibility and given many chances to learn and grow.

Cons

As a startup, things can sometimes feel busy and changing quickly because processes are still being set up and priorities shift. But the leaders are always available, friendly, and ready to help the team with any problems. Although resources and benefits aren’t as big as in larger companies, the chance to learn, make an impact, and work with great leaders makes it a great place to grow.
