Pros

Good benefits and lots of OT

Cons

Not consistent and employees receive belated reviews leading to belated promotions and raises. When I left the company they were having a hard time hiring graveyard employees (my shift) and were not drug testing new employees. Also, I was lucky to be trained by a knowledgeable employee however most were not as lucky and when I worked with them during overnight shifts they were very unprofessional. There were a lot of nights I was the only female employee in a house of 10+ men which was never a problem unless I had an intake and no back up from another male employee. Very disorganized. Once there was a couple who moved into an all male house whose laundry stayed undone in the BHT office for a week because day shift refused to do it and other graveyard shifts also refused to do it. These clients didn't have access to their full wardrobe for over a week until I informed management. Also, clients were able to easily sneak in contraband due to incomplete searches or order alcohol when negligent employees were on the clock.

Pros

They are always hiring. Many of the employees are nice people. They do offer benefits. They do hire felonies and really anything on your record. Much more lenient than most in the industry. No experience needed. Small amount of sobriety needed.

Cons

Very cheap company with the owner focused on cutting costs by taking the cheapest alternative to the point it drastically harms operations and puts both clients and employees at risk (Covid-19 for instance). Employees are significantly over worked and it is chronically under staffed because the company is too cheap to hire new employees or pay wages necessary to retain employees. The culture is not the best. There is a lot of negativity and drama. A lot of turnover. A lot of nepotism which really harms management. A lot of favoritism and very unprofessional and inexperienced management for the most part. Biggest issue is the company and operations are WAY out of compliance and patients have and will continue to be seriously harmed or die (several deaths). It really isn't so much the fault of individual employees, rather overall management decisions, under staffing, encouraging a lack of complaince and blatant disregard for state and other regulations. Would not recommend unless you have no experience or a very bad criminal record that prevents you from being hired at many better options in the industry.
