Pros

Out driving around on your own. If you get on employer's good side he is willing to be flexible with your schedule if you have other obligations.

Cons

Micro managed like crazy, employer lies, employer threatens your job every day saying you are replaceable and how there are new people being hired every day waiting to take your job. You will be promised full time employment (4 days * 10 hours/day = 40 hours) but expected to finish route under 8 hours (4 days * 8 hours/day = 32 hours max) and if you don't your days will be cut. Employees were told they would only be required to work either Saturday OR Sunday, employer would force you to work both days. Employer doesn't value employees who do the right thing. Employees would get suspended (by Amazon higher ups) for violations and employer would reward them by letting the work under other employees sign-ins, not hold them accountable, and then praise them daily in meetings

Pros

Work by yourself. Nice views of mountains

Cons

Everything. The owner. Nick is the most arrogant disrespectful ungrateful person. The way he speaks to his employees he wonders why people talk behind his back all the time he embarrasses people in front of the whole company he brags about all of his money and his family’s money. Every morning meeting is absurd. DONT NOT APPLY. GO STRAIGHT WITH AMAZONJOBS. NO THIRD PARTY. I’m surprised Amazon lets this guy get away with how unprofessional he really is. There is no room for advancement within this company you’ll be a door to door delivery driver miserable with no service out in the mountains being yelled at if you don’t finish your route you were going to lose a day of work or be punished. The cameras in the van have better technology for punishment towards the driver and the driver has accessibility to. Half the time when we turn off our road we don’t know a speed limit until we see a speed limit sign.

Pros

Lots of overtime and always work available.

Cons

Delivering in the pouring rain has got to be a big one. Closely monitored while driving the Amazon logo vans. Cameras installed in trucks watch your every movement. If you take 1 hand off the steering wheel to open a window or adjust the ac controls, you get dinged and it sends warnings to your boss right away who then in return calls you to ask what happened then reminds you if it happens over a certain amount of times you get fired. Also seat belt has to be clicked in before you put the vehicle in drive, even if your moving 15 feet, if not, it sends another message to dispatch who then calls you again. Very frustrating and annoying to deal with while your tring to be a delivery driver. Also route has to be completed in a specific time frame and if not, then send another employee who has already finished their route to come help you. So you never really get to drive back when your done with your job, they will send you to go help others if your fast at your job.
