Fantastic People, Horribly Misguided Management

Pros

There were fantastic peoe working there, all of which would help you in anyway possible, as long as they were not a part of the management team. Most of those peoe have been let go or fired at this point. Great customers and great product that needs less selling and more focus on creating a better quality, easier to use product.

Cons

Management - Yes, they'll pay for you to train on a $12,000 system, during work hours. But, they'll ream you out for not meeting your daily metrics in day, because the CEO wasted 2 hours preaching the next big thing, another 2 hours on useless training, leaving you overworked, disrespected, unwanted, and even fired. More money is wasted on useless tools, unnecessary equipment, and daily snacks instead of a quality management team. Also, false sense of security and growth potential. The only way to grow at RingLead is through monthly turn overs or quarterly management reshuffle.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. The strong focus on training comes from the CEO, Chris Hickey, and Executive Chairman, Russ Artzt, who together helped build a 4 billion dollar company, CA technologies. In order to push RingLead to reach that kind of success, RingLead has a performance based culture where expectations are clearly outlined and signed prior to each employees start date and these metrics are evaluated month to month. The majority of our employees meet or exceed expectations on a monthly basis or show improvement. These employees are granted stock options in RingLead at the end of the year. Our goal is for all RingLead employees to be equity owners in RingLead. We have never had an employee who was achieving leave RingLead. We wish you luck in your next position.

Pros

Great sales directors and account executives. Team members are great at this company. They all want you to succeed. Potential for growth.

Cons

Terrible CEO. Terrible owner. CEO micromanages and also lies. He says one thing and does another. Do not trust his words. Owner mismanaged capital and has crawled under a rock and hired a CEO to pull out of this mess he created only to hire a true tyrant. Expectations are unreasonable and ridiculous.

First, I would like to thank you for your feedback and apologize for the delayed reply. RingLead is unique in the fact that every employee has the option to be an owner of equity in the company, this is only achievable through a performance based culture where expectations and metrics are set in order to ensure growth at the company and to ensure that the responsibility of making RingLead successful is distributed across all employees. This culture is not for everyone, but is the fastest and most reliable way to lead to success in a company which invests a lot of time and money in training employees to be successful in their given roles.

Pros

Absolutely none. You DO NOT want to work here.

Cons

It's a joke to see the positive reviews listed below. Nice job at trying to repair your glassdoor score. If anyone is considering a job here please do not think that actual employees posted any positive reviews. Everyone is HIGH scrutinized at RingLead. I've had plenty of Sales jobs and this is by far the most ridiculous.

Thank you for your feedback, RingLead is unique in the fact that every employee has the option to be an equity owner in the company within this performance based culture. This is something that RingLead is proud of and does not take lightly. Management has a "boots on the ground" mentality, they do not sit back and let the rest of the team do the work, everyone works together. RingLead has invested a lot of time and money in extensive training programs for employees in order for employees to be successful in their given role and career path. RingLead employees work everyday striving for a successful and lucrative outcome for all employees including themselves, not just for a few people at the top of the company and not for venture capitalists not at the company. This is rare in this industry and this culture and work ethic is not for everyone.
