Pros

In all honesty my first months at Robovision were enjoyable. They have interesting problems to work on and a great amount of different technologies to work with. Also the people are nice and they had very skilled engineers. If it had stayed like that it would have been a place where I could have seen myself work for a long time.

Cons

* The management is incompetent and does not care about the people working for them. After an unexpected round of mass layoffs came the most chaotic and poorly planned restructuring I have ever witnessed. People were shoved in a new role with no conversation about what they wanted to do themselves. Several very experienced engineers were being pushed to do first line support as their full-time job. * This amateurism is causing Robovision to constantly lose good people and puts extra pressure on the people staying behing * Instead of taking responsibility for their mess the management does their best to silence any critical voices within the company.

Great Tech and People, But Lacks a Clear and Stable Direction

Pros

- The company is full of very smart, talented, and dedicated people at the engineering and operational levels. It's a privilege to work alongside such colleagues. - The core AI technology is genuinely interesting and has real potential to solve complex problems in different industries. - There are opportunities to work on challenging and technically advanced projects, which can be very rewarding.

Cons

- Strategic Indecision: The company has struggled for a long time to choose a clear identity. It feels constantly caught between being a scalable SaaS platform company and a hands-on, custom solutions provider. This creates a lot of internal friction, scatters focus, and makes it hard to excel at either. - Disconnect Between Sales and Product: There is often a significant gap between the solutions sold to clients and what the core platform can actually deliver. This puts enormous pressure on delivery and engineering teams to customize and fill those gaps, leading to potential burnout and long project timelines. - Erosion of Trust and High Turnover: A recent and poorly communicated restructuring has seriously damaged morale and trust in leadership. This has led to a noticeable number of talented and experienced colleagues choosing to leave, resulting in a significant loss of knowledge and stability.
