Laid-back work environment Small number of employees within the department, so it's easy to get to know everyone Good for people with no prior experience to learn about the field and to figure out different avenues to pursue.

Cons

Management Little to no growth opportunities If you're smart and a quick learner, prepare to be treated like a dunce because people are afraid of those that are more capable

Pros

No mixing of bicarb, acid or water check. Rogosin has facility technicians who manage all those chemicals.

Cons

Too many rules. Not allowed to help other technicians, only nurses. Not allowed to put a patient on before their time. Only allowed an interval of 15 mins before or after their treatment time. Not allowed to converse with fellow co-workers without getting written up. Nurses aren't allowed to help technicians unless connecting a patient who has AVC lines. While nurses have no patients, the ratio for techs to patients become 5:1, due to lack of staff. Barely any help from charge nurse. Con- 4 or 5:1 technician to patients.

There are no pros. The only pro is that this company is so scattered over so many destinations and no one really checks up on you...

Cons

The health insurance/benefits are the worst. There is no incentive to promote. Lots of old ways and old thinking. Salaries are not fair market. If you don't have a job and need one then I guess its a job and a paycheck other than that keep looking. There are lots of "old timers" that have no idea what is going on in the real working world. The CEO is never around, his second in command is a bully and the "women" in charge is out for blood all the time.
