Pros

None at the location on 64th and Indiana or the location on highway 7 in Erie, CO.

Cons

No managers at any stores that these owners had. They allowed another employee (34 year old man) to physically assault a minor and make all the female staff uncomfortable. There is also a video of him verbally assaulting a client in the parking lot with his company shirt on with the logo visible. When approached by everyone on staff (several times) about being uncomfortable and not feeling safe nothing was done. This was also not the first male employee to be threatening to the other staff. Nothing was done about the previous employee either. The pay is only okay. (10-11 per hour)Commission is nearly non existent but they have no problem pushing you to sell, sell, sell. The clientele is kind though. I feel bad that they go here. I’d recommend they go to the other location on 88th and Wadsworth where the owner cares about her employees. The owners do not care about you. They don’t care about your well-being, your safety, your time or your life. All they care about is making themselves money. They are incapable of running a business as one of their locations had to be closed due to their lack of business management skill. They can not operate a salon. It’s sad that people like them are allowed to own them. They make the salon industry look bad. This is the Arvada location at 64th and Indiana. Address is : 14805 W 64th Ave. Arvada, CO, 80004

Loved my job, toxic owner

Pros

Busy clientele, great tips

Cons

Nuclear levels of toxic drama, beyond the norm, never a good barber who didn't steal or cut people excessively, owner had to be watched constantly for theft or misappropriation of pay, never in store except to close down and hand you your money without letting you see your daily reports or tips. Obvious shady vibe which telegraphed strongly to everyone, had drug addicts and employees with psychiatric issues constantly hijacking the work flow, never appreciative of his solid employees because they weren't naive or malleable, and very much a chauvinist. No floor mats for the chairs. Shop needed repairs and the computer was absolutely fraught with problems. Aside from providing services we has to answer the phone, handle appointments , clean, and roll towels, do laundry while being booked from start to finish, no team support. Often the owner would say derisive things about his own employees which was especially bad since he was only there to manipulate numbers to his own benefit. This was supposed to be a high end, luxury, treat yourself location and he ran it like a back alley chop shop. The clients paid most of the wages and he never paid commission on services or products. Which is frustrating considering he didn't care about his clients either, it was political. I brought in toms og business by word of mouth and he pretty much ingratiated himself to them and did nothing to earn it.
