Pros

Wonderful people to learn a lot from who are eager to help you out and share their knowledge.

Cons

Poor management decisions. Given the current situation, they seem to have some sort of strategy to make people leave and save themselves some money. There's like this big elephant in the room no one talks about because they fear for their financial stability or something (and this affects health in general). You can sense something's wrong but they just act like you're crazy if you try to talk about it and express your concerns. Advice given what I've heard and seen: use your days off before you leave, and be careful if you decide to leave a month that ends in the weekend. No matter you worked the whole month, they won't pay you for the whole month (they won't count those last days of the that are part of the weekend). They'll constantly say that they don't encourage working extra hours, but they won't give you those tools and help you need to avoid doing so. The current situation is that there's little to no consistency between what they say and what they do.

Pros

There are nice people who are always willing to help.

Cons

My experience at this company has been less than satisfactory on multiple fronts. The management, to put it bluntly, is in shambles, with decision-making falling into the hands of someone who clearly isn't doing a competent job. The benefits package is lackluster at best, offering nothing more than a meager 'lunch refund' which only applies if you dine out – supermarket shoppers are out of luck. There's no support for personal or professional growth, as there are no bonuses for courses or books, and leaders constantly push you to learn more, even when you're already tied up in a full-time project. The company's initiatives often lack a clear direction, leading to frustration and disappointment. Despite their claims to prioritize mental health, the support offered in times of trouble, whether project-related or personal, is virtually non-existent. It's disheartening that the company seems to put aside employees' concerns and resorts to gaslighting, making us question the validity of our own experiences. This toxic environment encourages employee turnover and internal projects are often chaotic, negatively impacting mental health and overall job satisfaction. The starting salary is abysmally low, making it nearly impossible to afford basic living expenses. Even if your performance review is stellar, don't expect a raise. Expressing concerns about project issues to your leader is a fruitless endeavor, as they tend to add more meetings to discuss problems without taking meaningful action. Needless to say, there's an abundance of superfluous meetings, like the infamous 'all hands,' which most employees hardly pay attention to. In summary, my time at this company has been marked by poor management, lackluster benefits, a dismissive approach to employee concerns, and a frustrating emphasis on additional learning while overlooking critical problems within the organization.

Pros

Flex schedule, equipment, nice people to work with

Cons

The company appears to be facing some challenging times, with the discontinuation of certain previously offered benefits. Additionally, if you are based in Uruguay, you may find it challenging to receive a substantial pay raise during performance reviews, even if you've been promoted, worked hard, or achieved all your objectives since the HR team is primarily located in Argentina and may not fully grasp the nuances of the Uruguayan job market, often resulting in less favorable salary adjustments. In my recommendation, if you prioritize a work environment that allows for a more relaxed schedule, this company may align with your preferences. However, if your goal is to steadily improve your financial situation over time, this may not be the most conducive place to achieve that objective.
