Pros

- Good company in terms of career growth - Good management system, Bill Roth and his wife manage the company well. - The training system to get along with the company format and technical is great. - Accept hybrid work which is great - Most of senior supervisors are so easy-going to help the employees - There are many different types of organizations in many locations to explore the Canada and US through the site visits - SLAM is their strongest product which help you to like this company

Cons

- You have to be smart to negotiate for your salary - Some site visits might be out of city where you don't get much extra for your travel - They are mostly doing BCA - If you are so smart and hard working, your workload will go up but your salary won't increase as your work load

Lack of Structure

Pros

- Lots of work and interesting projects (universities, municipalities, school districts, etc.) - Culture is full of friendly and helpful people (mostly) - Company sets up remote employees with quality equipment: laptop, iPad, iPhone, monitors, etc. - 20 days of PTO annually - IT systems generally work well

Cons

- Company is very much in 'Start-Up' mode in the US established in 2022 - In-house software is cheap and flimsy. Not user friendly and full of bugs - The FCA work itself is extremely monotonous, tedious and boring. More data entry than consulting and/or report writing - One simple building FCA will take multiple days to complete so most everyone is months behind on their work and almost everything is over budget. Our product is overreaching and we provide way too much information for the $$$ received - Extensive travel Sunday-Friday trips once or twice per month! - Rapid growth in the US has resulted in overall lack of structure (too many soldiers and zero leaders) - 90% of company employees are remote and all department leads are based in Canada - Roth prefers to hire inexperienced people at low salaries - Company seems to 'Talk the Talk' but does not 'Walk the Walk' - final reports I've seen are low quality and full of errors - Benefits are below average and in the US you will need to find your own medical plan, and get partially reimbursed by company
