Pros

1. Colleagues are amazing people, super talented and highly capable, they make the time at Roundforest almost tolerable. 2. The company is working in a very fast pace, and dealing in a very interesting and dynamic business environment.

Cons

1. CEO - The founder and CEO of the company is one of the company biggest pain points, demonstrating childish behaviors like not speaking to employees when he is dissatisfied with anything ("the silent treatment"), panicking at time of crisis, lacking any leadership skills, and more bad traits along those lines. On top of that, the CEO believes in inserting high volume of stress into the work environment because he believes thats how you get results - by stressing everyone out. It safe to say that it's not working, as the average life span of an employee in Roundforest is 6 months. 2. Compensation - very poor, the company is making a lot of money but none of it get shared with the employees, which are required to work almost 24/7, during weekends, holidays, nights, or whenever the company profits are slightly less than expected. No bonuses, no happy hours, embarrassing holiday gifts. 3. Attitude toward employees - In general, Management (and the CEO at the spearhead) acts as they don't care at all from their employees. No education, growth, career options, no welfare, nothing. Just work and work and work and get more money to the founders pockets. 4. High stress - As mentioned, high volume of stress without any good reason. On average after 6 months people quit the company because they can't stand it anymore. In general, it is just recommended to stay away from Roundforest.

Hi, this is Alon, Roundforest’s CEO. Thank you for your feedback. 2017 was indeed a stressful period. It was challenging to deal with our hyper-growth both in sales and personnel. The team and I were less experienced and I understand where you’re coming from. Today we’re in a completely different mindset. We make sure all employees have a healthy work/life balance, and professional growth is just as important to me as it is to our amazing employees. I really appreciate your feedback. It will help us continue to improve Roundforest. Thank you once again, Alon

Pros

Access to a lot of data A few good people

Cons

Extreme turnover, no managerial backbone. In the last 6 months prior to the corona crisis the following people left the company: VP R&D, COO, VP publisher products, head of data, head of growth, 3 product managers and the list goes on.

Pros

Location in TA, but it doesn't worth it at all.

Cons

Imagine a book that tells in-depth on how to NOT run a company. Roundforest would make a perfect use case for such a book. Any basic aspect you could possibly think of, this company is on the very wrong side of delivering it. - The human relations and the attitude towards employees is the most disrespectful and humiliating I have ever witnessed. The founders just don't know how to treat people and how to manage them. Constant job interviews for positions that are still occupied (in front of those employees); No transparency, no communication, unreasonable requests and fake praises in front of the company (5 minutes after the opposite was told behind closed doors). - The pressure and the high load is certainly NOT a regular one as in every startup. People that treated horribly on a daily basis are expected to be available 24/7. - During a span of fewer than three months, 15 people (out of ~40) resigned, including 4 from high management. - 99% of the positive reviews here are faked completely, I personally witnessed some of them being written during my time in the company. - For future product managers - they will tell you a lot of stories about how this is an opportunity to develop an amazing product, but all the management cares for is GP, nothing else. A product manager has the highest turnover rate of all positions in the company. - I strongly advise any future candidate - Don't you even dare to consider this company as your workplace
