      Could have been so much better.

      Pros

      Staff are friendly, no unrealistic KPIs, head office is impressive, support functions are well run.

      Cons

      Stopped paying commission during the COVID-19 pandemic, made redundancies during furlough period and kept all commissions. CEO only seems to speak to staff with 2-3 + years service. This is a very cliquey environment. Most teams are very insular and don’t understand the benefits of cooperation. Only one of the managers there was prepared to pass on leads and jobs to the right department. The rest tried to hold onto everything themselves out of selfish greed. Candidate and Client database is poor, wouldn’t recommend setting up a cold desk here.

      Worked alongside some very genuine people.

      Cons

      To make employees redundant during the early stages of COVID-19 was a disgraceful way to act. One weeks notice and denying us our commission during a worldwide pandemic... shocking unethical behaviour!

      I am currently employed by the Russell Taylor Group as a recruitment team leader and this year marks my 10 year anniversary with the business. Russell Taylor have always supported me with not just my day to day responsibilities but also ensured that I have the tools, knowledge and opportunities to reach my overall career goals. Rob (MD) and Ben (CEO) strive on developing and nurturing talent and they have always been there to support me personally and professionally and I look forward to another amazing decade with the business. I would recommend Russell Taylor to anyone looking to break into the recruitment industry but also to established recruitment professionals looking to further their career.
