Pros

1. 10 days holiday and 2 days sick leaves per year 2. Decent enough benefits for full timers... but employees shoulder some of the payment 3. They got a snooker table if you know how to play 4. Chalk this up in favour of work/like balance -- you get to go home at 5pm if you are not being picked on by a manager and given senseless inconsequential requests at 4:55pm

Cons

1. Bullying and passive aggressiveness of one of the managers and like employees are put down constantly and sometimes publicly 2. A lot of micromanaging and dictatorial habits by a business (co)owner 3. Management was against work from home even if covid was spreading in the office and insisted people to go to the office with bad air circulation 4. Recycling worn on strategies, plans and ideas

Broken, Broken, Broken!

Pros

When you start out, most would think Ryan Design is an ideal place to work. But spend more than a month there and you soon realize that the manager there is running a dictatorship.

Cons

The manager there is unapproachable and disrespectful to everyone they encounters. They will go out their way to tell you how god-awful everything you do is and make it a point to give you attitude every turn of a conversation. Not only that, but they have a HIGH DISREGARD for covid safety measures. They claim to be a digital agency and then force people to come into the office, even though all their jobs can be done more effectively by means of email or remote work. No one in the office wears a mask, and they even throw in-person parties, where they also do not wear masks. Regardless of vaccinations, they do not care about your individual health or at home situation and would prefer you come in to be a “team-player” and get covid with the rest of the office. It’s no wonder no new employee has lasted longer than a month. Stay away from this place at all costs. You deserve better and would be treated nicer at McDonalds.

Pros

Colleagues are nice Management was kind initially

Cons

Had a great initial experience working closely with manager, then realized manager would use condescending words and attitude when things went wrong, feedback sessions were also unconstructive - sessions involved people's opinions with no specific examples and no concrete plan of action to help improve the situation and rather just opinions on ways to improve Long hours, timelines were tight and no tools to help improve any kind of business processes
