Good heart, poor executive functioning

Pros

Working with clients can be very rewarding. Most staff are passionate about their work and help make it caring environment. Good training opportunities and clinical consults.

Cons

Pay is low. Management is haphazard and quick to be defensive when questioned. My supervisor had very little follow-through and often provided information that I later learned was incorrect. Performance evaluations were based largely on "productivity" numbers, but the productivity numbers in reports were often wrong. Staff turnover is high.

Great location, serves a lot of the community

Cons

Management is inexperienced, does not understand the state and federal requirements which results in illegal and unethical business practices. Management definitely is a clique and you are either in or you are really, really out.
