Pros
Opportunity to work on robotics
Cons
- Unethical treatment of employees - Deceptive communication practices - Misleading promises and taking advantage of employees - Toxic, abusive communication style - Very poor communication from management - Failure to honor agreed-upon terms and conditions - Artificial urgency created to manipulate employees - Sudden terminations without proper notice I was initially offered a full-time position at Saeki Robotics AG. The company created artificial urgency to make me start working before the actual start date on freelance terms. This turned out to be a pattern of deceptive practices. The work environment was toxic, characterized by abusive communication and a complete lack of professional ethics. Management's communication was extremely poor, leaving employees in the dark about important matters. I witnessed another engineer, who also started working before his official start date, suddenly disappear without any communication and notice. Coincidentally, I was let go right before my full-time contract was to begin. To my shock, I discovered the termination period was only 7 days, despite previous assurances of a longer notice period. The company consistently failed to honor agreed-upon terms and conditions. They made promises about relocation and long-term employment, which influenced my decision to accept a lower rate and turn down other opportunities. These promises were never fulfilled. The lack of work ethic was appalling. The management seemed more interested in taking advantage of employees than in building a sustainable, respectful work environment. They created a culture of urgency and pressure, only to abruptly change course without explanation. I would strongly caution any potential employees or contractors against working with this company. Their unethical practices and toxic culture make for a stressful and unrewarding work experience.
