Great plant manager, thats knowledgeable in machine tools.
Cons
Management outside of shop floor is horrendous. Service scheduling is outside of reality. Never ship all the materials required to rebuild machine. Once you're on the road, its your problem, nobody wants to answer their phone. Favoritism without merit is unreal. Can work 7 days a week for months and when the time comes there isn't work, you're forced to work on shop floor without notice to plant manager, where there is no budget. If you take time off at those times,, you're punished for it. Company bleeds money losses everywhere, and nobody wants to hear about what happens on road to fix some of it. You are never a trusted employee, but you have to make and pay for all travel itinerary, then fight to get reimbursed.
