Pros

The company is usually pretty flexible if you need to take off for things. Coworkers are generally very willing to help and friendly.

Cons

Pay is poor compared to other companies. Raises are also small. Training is poor for new employees. You are put in a position where you are supposed to find ways to make sure your hours worked are considered billable to clients. You do not have any control over whether billable work is available or not though. Management preaches quality but then they turn around and want everything completed in half the estimated time and as cheaply as possible. They push bad code into Production and support it with low quality, cheap, contractors that make minimal effort. If problems are found they do not fix them until it causes an incident because fixing issues is not billable so it is low priority.

Pros

The check clears. 401k match is good.

Cons

Senior management team is all new. The few that did understand the business and the industry have either quit or been shown the door. This has resulted in utter confusion throughout the business while issues continue to mount. Company culture is that you are simply a number and nothing more. While other companies have figured out work from home, this company shuns it. As a result, turnover has been extremely high in all department and at all levels.

Pros

They have a cafeteria. 401k with 5% match Paid vacation/ Sick leave (They are combined hours) Volunteer opportunities (If approved by management) Beautiful building

Cons

*Building has a lot of wasted space *Employees were told they had to borrow from our competitor in the same building to pay out our bonuses. Still having those company events with beer though. Priorities! *Lack of training provided. *Told to refer to guidelines which don't include everything you need and are below par or incomplete. *Constant overtime and told at the end of your shift that your staying late with the time to leave not provided or having to ask to leave daily with the question ignored by mgmt. Makes work/ life balance hard to plan for things. *Lack of direction from management and communication between management appears to be non existent. *Promotions tend to go based on who you know and not what you know. *They offer 401k match within the year you are hired permanent, but tend to hire employees in the months of Nov. and Dec. so they have less time to match as its closer to end of year. *Very micromanaged *Almost every meeting you will be given a test to do regarding what was talked about. Results and feedback aren't provided. *Management has a tendency to be unprofessional and discuss other co-workers information with other account service reps under them openly. *Typical day you can expect to be treated unprofessionally or demeaned and belittled. *Management says they want to know how things are going. However when you mention something it is taken with a grain of salt and most of the time isn't acknowledged. *Ability to wear jeans, but when the client comes in for the block you are working we have to dress up and pretend this is how we always dress. It's just very fake considering other blocks are still in jeans which doesn't make sense. *Expectation for quality is unrealistic at 100%. We are not robots and make mistakes.
