Pros

No one knows what they're doing, so the bar to impress people is low.

Cons

Bad leadership, bad treatment towards certain employees, and very political environment. Very backdated mindset when it comes to strategizing, and will pin the blame on smaller factors when the big picture that was devised by themselves was flawed. Extreme expectations with outdated resources. Retrenched? They say they provide a better deal than PERKESO, but they will cut any corner they can unless it is brought up, and you will get a lot of sweet-talking but with minimal support. Only two people earn my respect there.

Pros

Company very close to my home. Compensation wise for retrenchment was pretty good. But the benefits are just 'meh' for most of them. This company was the company that jumpstart my career. Other than these, nothing else stands out.

Cons

Nothing is rewarded here, no matter how much you do or try its never enough. Your confidence will only plummet here. This company actually gave me ANXIETY. This was my FIRST real professional job and it gave me anxiety. They literally gave me mental disorder. The upper management doesn't even know what they are doing most of the time. They don't listen to advice, they disregard thing's you say just because they don't like you. They do it their own way and when it doesn't produce result they want, they blame you. They blame their designers on SALES btw, hahahahaha Almost all of the employee in my department was retrenched. The reason they gave was to cut cost blabla etc bunch of other excuse. The one's should be gone is not gone, the one's should NOT be gone are gone. One of the retrenchment criteria was "Last come, first go" but me and few of my colleagues that was one of the FIRST employee they hired when they started this official marketing department, we still got let go. Which is hilarious. When I first worked there I chose to stay in office to 12am just to try my best to learn everything and do everything, showing that I can do it. I go back to office on WEEKEND. Everyday I work and learn what I can, with MINIMAL to NO guidance. Countless days of UNPAID OT, to the point that I was known for my OT at a period of time. I wake up, I work, I go home, I work just to catch up and improve. All that for what. bunch of praises with empty promises. I was paid the bare minimum with yearly increase and no raise. When I ask for raise, it's always rejected, the reason is always I didn't do enough. It's never enough. One of the comment's I received from upper was, " sometimes always doing OT will only give the impression that you are not good at your work". Here's another one, "maybe you should do more, like do more work outside of you job to show that you are doing work" . Best company ever. (P.S. This review is probably gonna be removed, if it is, you know why)
