Pros

Decent salaries (always paid late), nice live experiences living as expatriate in 3rd world countries and the perfect place to learn all the "not to do".

Cons

Everything else, absolutely unorganized, never care about people (big HR rotation), racist issues in Africa, corruptions affairs in 3rd world countries, incompetent and unskilled management, etc.,etc..

Too many issues with upper management

Pros

Nice co-workers, and great benefits.

Cons

Upper management micromanages everything. Power is too centralized and has not been given to the correct people. The company has too many people without the proper background or credentials to be in their positions (mainly at the executive level). This aspect has caused significant problems for the business to function correctly. On a similar note, there is too much nepotism and too many family friends working for the company. Very formal/old school business attire requirement for everyone in the company, including technology developers.

Outdated Management, Low Pay, No Growth

Pros

Coworkers at the same level are supportive and easy to work with.

Cons

- Outdated, top-down management style with little openness to new ideas. - Micromanagement is common and trust is low. - Feedback in retrospectives is rarely taken seriously. - Product feels outdated and quality is impacted by lack of proper QA time. - Compensation is below market, especially for a fully on-site role (5 days/week). - Very weak 401(k) match (~2%), far below industry standard. - Strict and excessive time tracking policies. - Unprofessional meeting culture at times. - No strong team mindset or collaboration culture. - Limited to no career growth opportunities. - Concerns around management decisions and job stability.
