Pros
I checked Glassdoor before working here to read reviews and figured it wouldn't be that bad. I was wrong, and I regret ignoring them and accepting an offer. - Immediate coworkers were nice. That's it.
Cons
- This is very highly paced and highly stressful environment. You can deal with hundreds, if not thousands , of customers and verbal abuse from customers, but management won't bat an eye. I've personally experience coworkers being verbally abused by customers and leave their desk crying. Management doesn't do anything because the customer is always right and they care more about earning their repeat business. On top of that, you'll be dealing with hundreds of phone calls from rude customers. - If you are not Korean, you won't feel like a part of the team. Management is very political and makes non-Korean employees not a part of the team. Even if you are Korean, the managers will be more aggressive and will insult you in Korean. Managers are all Korean and nepotism is rampant among managers and upper management. Culture needs to change in order to grow. - The management does not appreciate their employees and treats employees as replaceable. - And of course, the pay is very low for what you have to deal with.
