This review concerned us greatly so we asked our CEO to personally respond.
"Feedback is an important part of who we are as a company and I was very concerned by the content of this review since it was the first negative review we’ve received since we started in 2015. My primary concern is that you state you are a current employee, which is very difficult for me to understand since I, and all of the leaders at SPS DGTL, have an open door policy. I know every employee of the company personally. When they have good days … I congratulate them. When they have bad days … I encourage them. At our last all-company meeting, we conducted a completely anonymous employee satisfaction survey and 100% of the employees answered the following questions “strongly agree:”
• I understand the mission and vision of SPS DGTL – 100% said they strongly agree
• I feel proud to work for SPS DGTL – 100% said they strongly agree
• The company is being managed by competent leaders – 100% said they strongly agree
• I feel like I can trust my manager – 100% said they strongly agree
• My manager is available, approachable, and generally wants to help me – 100% said they strongly agree
• I’m excited about the future of SPS DGTL – 100% said they strongly agree
Overall, this survey indicated that we are on the right track from an employee satisfaction perspective, and anonymity was guaranteed based upon the way we administered the survey. If you are a current employee, either you changed your mind during the time between our Q3 all-company meeting and this review or you have not been a current employee for some time. Again, if you are a current employee, and have these concerns, you really need to come see me. No judgement or consequences … I just want to make things better for you.
With regards to the facts of your review, ½ of the staff has not been fired or resigned in the past six months. Our total employee count is actually larger now than ever before. I fully recognize that SPS DGTL isn’t for everyone. Our culture, the hours we work, and the volume/velocity of change is hard for some to embrace. Several members of our leadership team have moved on for various reasons; that is a normal part of running a company like this. We will stop changing so much when the digital world around us stops changing so much. Until then, we will adapt and adjust, add products, delete products and do whatever it takes to deliver for our clients. In the past few months alone, we’ve renewed long-term contracts, and added several large and very exciting accounts, a fact that any current employee would be fully aware. Last of all, every member of the leadership team worked 60+ hours last week. The management team and staff worked with equal dedication and effort as well.
Lastly, my sense is that you are a disgruntled former employee; however, if I am wrong, come see me. I can promise you the same thing I have always promised my staff … to listen.
