Pros

VERY few Pros - *Remote Work on Fridays:* One bright spot in this rollercoaster of a company is the opportunity to work remotely on Fridays. It's a small perk, but it does make the workweek a bit more manageable. - Take note the CEO will randomly request the team to report to the office if "needed" the night before not caring if you had prior plans - *Unlimited Work from Anywhere Days:* The flexibility to work from anywhere on certain days is a plus. It allows for a change of scenery when needed. - Be advised that only Event Staffing managers and Executive Assistant (more like HR/PA) are required to be in office all other teams (HR & Placements team) work from home.

Cons

- *CEO's Vacation Habits:* The CEO has a knack for always being on vacation. While everyone deserves some downtime, it can be frustrating when it feels like they're never truly present. This absence results in a lack of awareness about ongoing matters, and the CEO's delayed responses to client emails make the team appear insufficient. Clients may perceive a lack of urgency, even if the team has already responded promptly. This communication gap could potentially impact client relationships and the overall effectiveness of our service. - *Constant "Restructuring":* The CEO's habit of constantly trying to "restructure" things that are already working can be exhausting. It often feels like change for the sake of change, making jobs needlessly complicated. This has led to situations where the corporate team is frequently taking on multiple roles without adequate compensation. -**Example:** "Jr." Event Staffing Managers are expected to support Event Staffing Managers behind the scenes. However, they find themselves entirely client-facing, managing event cycles from start to finish without receiving the compensation they deserve. When the team brings up this issue, the CEO's response is consistently focused on an ongoing "restructure" without addressing the immediate concerns and compensation disparities. This lack of resolution adds to the frustration and disheartenment among the team. - *Lack of Support and Condescension:* The CEO's condescending attitude and reluctance to provide guidance make it challenging to thrive in this company. You're often left to figure things out on your own. - Company motto "Everything is figure-outable" - *Failure to Defend ESM Team:* It's disheartening when the CEO fails to support the Event Staffing Manager team during client issues. Could use more backup and a united front. The CEO claims to be "friends" with the clients and automatically takes their side even when they treat his team very poorly - *Impulsive Decision-Making:* Impulsive, ill-thought-out decisions seem to be the CEO's specialty. It leaves the team dealing with the consequences. - *Feedback Hypocrisy:* The CEO claims to encourage honest feedback but uses it against the team. It's a double-edged sword that discourages open communication. - *Unprofessional Behavior:* Gossiping about employees about their performance!!! It is very unprofessional and fosters a toxic atmosphere. He goes around gossiping to the team starting off with "Don't share this to the team..." In addition he request the team to spy on other employees... Lastly non-stop vaping in the office - *Poor Communication:* The CEO's eye-rolling and huffing when in disagreement are hardly the hallmarks of effective communication. - *Work-Life Balance:* The expectation to work 24/7 with little compensation or recognition is demoralizing. It's hard to maintain work-life balance in such an environment. - *Empty Promises and Gaslighting:* Promises are made but rarely kept, and gaslighting seems to be a favored tactic when confronted with concerns. - *Lack of 401K:* The absence of a 401K plan is a glaring omission in the benefits package. - Insurance packages are very expensive (Medical/Dental/Vision) - *Morale and Company Culture:* The CEO's seeming indifference to employee morale and company culture is a significant drawback. A disengaged and unhappy workforce isn't productive. - *Field Team Onboarding:* The field team is incredibly talented, but there's a noticeable lack of proper onboarding for them. This oversight can hinder their performance and development. - *High Turnover in Corporate Team:* It's alarming to witness constant turnover in the corporate team. Very few individuals make it past one year, which suggests a deeper problem with leadership and company culture. CEO fires employees on the whim with no real reasoning or strategy for replacement - Expects the remaining staff to pick up the additional workload In conclusion, STAFFED INC. has its share of challenges, primarily stemming from leadership issues and a lack of employee-focused policies. While there are a couple of small perks, they don't outweigh the overall NEGATIVE experience. If you're considering joining this company, be prepared for a rocky ride, especially in the corporate team, and keep in mind that the lack of support for the field team could affect overall performance.

Pros

Any pro of working here is the barest of minimums to exist in a modern day working environment

Cons

Do not work here! Highly toxic work culture, rooted in leadership from founder. Extremely high turnover, no one makes it a year once the CEO decides to target you, regardless of performance and qualifications. Employees watch high performers and “favorites” get squeezed out and disappear from day to day. Absentee leadership without structure in place. CEO requires employees to be in office and expects employees to be “on” 24/7 while he is tending to his social life and constantly traveling for “business development” that does not result in business. Blames financial complications on employees. Constant change and lack of structure and process is classified as “innovation”. CEO prefers AI over actual human experience. No true management or accountability in place. Work here if you want to experience the definition of gaslighting - the company’s culture prides itself on caring about people, yet employees are treated extremely disposable, despite their level of contribution or talent. A tragedy.
