Pros

-if you enjoy working with children, this is a great opportunity -if you enjoy singing, dancing, acting, this is a great opportunity

Cons

-any sort of passion you may have for performing arts will be ruined by the time you are done here. -children are allowed to join the camp as young as 3, and are not yet toilet trained. -no effective training system for when someone may work with children with special needs. -the pay does not nearly measure to the work you do. -you are expected to be anywhere at the drop of a hat, or you're never scheduled at all. -they do not give notice if your location/dates have changed. -you are promised 7-8 weeks work and that is a complete lie. -management talk down to workers and dismiss any issues they may have with other workers who are mistreating children. -the management favor "getting the material done", rather than the health and wellbeing of the child/leader. -workers not properly garda vetted. -workers not properly trained. -draining work that is just glorified babysitting.

Pros

Honestly there is nothing to say, how this company has not been shut down is scary.

Cons

Each staff member could have over 40/50 kids to look after. The children were way too young to be in a camp. Camps held in secondary schools…kids as young as 4 cannot even reach the toilets. I was also never garda vetted.

Pros

- Good role to gain lots of experience - Part-time and HR team were all great to work with and were supportive - A good role for starting out in office work

Cons

- Was given out to in front of my colleagues by management - High expectations for a small wage - Was let go due to my "frustrations" in the role. When asked if there was anything I did regarding my standard of work this was "not a question". I had only 1 conversation prior to this about how I felt about the role in which my "frustrations" were never underlined as such a concern that they would be the result of my firing. - Despite my "frustrations", I worked through out the entire summer, and was let go when camps were over and the office was very quiet - Emailed, as management were on holidays, asking for further clarity as to why I was let go and was told I would have a meeting on a day I was on annual leave. After explaining that I had already booked this off and I would be open to taking a phone call to chat, I never received contact back.
