A lot of cons! Where do I start? Micromanaging Managers and very sneaky!! Low pay for big work load. When I first started I was given 42 hours of PTO......that is joke. Luckily now that has changed to ~72 hours. However, with similar roles and jobs this is still considered really low. There is no on boarding, orientation, or anything to let you who you are working for. They send you straight to your cubicle to train with someone. Process overviews are outdated and you essentially are left to figure out your job for yourself. They are not setting anyone up to succeed. There are people who have been there for many years and seem to not realize this. The atmosphere of the office is very "individual." You get one thing wrong and you will get an email quickly about it. Office is quiet (i prefer this!). Only (2) 15 minute breaks given throughout the day with 45 minute lunches. They are very strict with schedules and are watching like a hawk if you are even 1 minute late and not staying 1 minute over. It seems like there is no actual set in stone process to certain jobs and just winging it or making it up as you go. Your work will not be simple. I worked for only 1 year and I have seen about 8-9 people fired in my office area or asked to leave..even some of the higher ups in the company... I couldn't handle it anymore as other departments were short and continuously asked to put aside my work and help other departments with no compensation. I decided to get out of there. I found a better opportunity (for much more pay) and closer to home that offers work from home. WFH is essentially frowned upon at STROCO and will be turned down unless you give them an ultimatum. So much can be improved here. Things need to be made simple otherwise it will use burn out QUICKLY.
