Pros

Consistent 9-5. Paid lunch. Good people to work with, Gets worse the further up the chain of management you go.

Cons

Micromanagement is the management style the owners and VP chose to follow. Any and all tasks will be viewed under a microscope and filled with scrutiny. They do not trust their employees to do their job, even if they are proficient at said task. I cannot express the amount of micromanagement that takes place in this company. Terrible pay compared to the high value workstations being sold. And the skill to build them and all other employee roles that play a part in the process. You could probably make more on unemployment insurance. Constant addition of responsibilities. You cannot push back on these responsibilities because in the job description it states anything to help sumuri. Leadership in the company is very low. Any specialties an employee may offer is swept under the rug and ignored because they know better. Even considering managements lack of a business background. Zero recognition given to employees even after years of working for them. Management in the company constantly gives customers unreasonable expectations, does not inform employees of these expectations. Management plays favorites and it is quite obvious. If you are not going to the post office with the owner you are not a favorite. If something goes wrong someone always has to be at fault. There is never a hiccup in the system or an accident. They seem to believe employees mess up on purpose. Benefits are non existent. Only 8 days of PTO when starting, no health insurance, no life insurance, etc. Common reputable business practices do not exist here. It seems management prefers a fly by the seat of their pants approach. It is very evident when everything becomes a code red emergency and everyone is scrambling to find a solution.

Unappreciative to Backroom Workers

Pros

Flexible Schedule if you're in school

Cons

The other reviewers are spot on, they absolutely have a passive aggressive attitude towards those in the back. They overstep boundaries by asking you to do more and more things not in your job description, and then add it to your job description if you complain without reasonable pay. Deadlines begin before computers are ready to be built, a lot of times there is no stock and they expect the back to work as fast as possible despite poor inventory management. Some workers are favored over others. Honestly, you'd make more as a cashier.
