      The Board worked with me to develop new initiatives at the leading edge of library service. They gave me the freedom to experiment and continue to improve our internal and external processes and services.

      Cons

      Our clients continuing loss of funding impacted our ability to do more.

      Pros

      Supporting a wide variety of customers requires laddering and creativity. We can only be supportive if we truly understand their needs. Challenging and rewarding job! Unlimited support for self-guided learning as well as peer-to-peer learning.

      Cons

      Because the organization is small, we each have to wear many hats. Some of those hats may not fit well.
