Unprofessional, Directionless, Clueless!

Pros

The only pro for working in this company is if you can't find a job elsewhere and willing to settle for low pay, below average work - then this is the place to work! The company loves to hire people who can work for cheap!

Cons

The company has no direction and does not have any ambition. It tries to win small scale projects and pocket some money. The CEO has no clue of how to run a company. The employees don't know what their roles and responsibilities are and everyone seems to be working on everything. Pretty much everyone is some sort of a manager at the company barring a couple of people. Furthermore, the CEO has hired a person to check on whose coming in and leaving at what time, run errands, fix water cooler and coffee machine and has appointed him as the COO. That's just ridiculous! The designation and assigned roles of the employees have no correlation whatsoever. Avoid this company if you have a choice! You will come out of it dumber and more frustrated than you were at the time of starting.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to see your unfortunate perception of Safal. I believe a cursory look at our website will give you an idea of the size of our projects and the qualifications of our staff. As to your COO comment, with my 20+ years technology experience when I am not architecting solutions for our federal and state technology projects or managing company operations, I do aim to continuously enhance the work culture in our office. I care about our employees and do not consider it beneath my role to resolve issues, no matter how small they may seem, if they are affecting the productivity or morale of our team. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors and hope you find an organization better fitting with your values and expectations.

Pros

Remote first. Resume building projects.

Cons

Low balls people coming out of government jobs (i.e., teachers). Expect to work nights and weekends and to be poorly managed. Gets people on after winning contracts and there is a continual sense of urgency. Understaffs projects. Turnover rate high (notice people who have moved on struggle to get back on their feet and job postings are nonstop).

Not What It Seems

Pros

Lots of positivity between colleagues. And the pay is nice.

Cons

Management doesn't really care about you. I was tasked with leading a major project with only a Project Director as help. When I asked for more support I was ignored. I started falling behind almost immediately because of all the work. The client's patience was wearing thin and they didn't care that I didn't have any help. After I left, I found out that a lot of people are experiencing the same thing.
