Pros

The training is great, you get to learn things and make connections. If its your cup of tea, you get to work with a lot of celebrities.

Cons

You are tossed into the fire without prior training and are expected to the excel immediately. Managers refuse to take training but are lacking in any managerial skills because they have never been part of a corporate setting or underwent proper training to be managers.

Competitive Pay, But Needs Improvement in Leadership Culture

Pros

Competitive salary, but that's about it.

Cons

Management is disorganized and unsupportive, with no proper onboarding or training. Expectations are unclear, and the toxic work culture leaves employees feeling undervalued and set up to fail. Leadership provides little to no guidance, creating a frustrating and demotivating environment. It's not a place worth staying for long.

Pros

Managers let you handle a variety of work early on, which will quickly expose you to the ins and outs of events- great for those who want to learn quickly at a short amount of time. Learn to develop thick skin- managers can be blunt with comments but quickly forgive when you make mistakes. Co-workers are nice to work with- will help you out.

Cons

Toxic work culture- long working hours with managers who don't respect boundaries (expects you to answer calls at all times, etc.), tight deadlines that you're expected to make, superficial culture (only accepts those that are good-looking, fashionable, etc.). Lack of mentorship especially for creatives- you're expected to know everything from the start without any formal training materials or seniors that you can count on for advice.
