Zero room for advancement...trapped in a dead end job.

Pros

Time is flexible, management is willing to work with you depending on your situation but it's a 9-5 job. Stress level is low, as long as you come in and do your work. Friendly co workers.

Cons

Zero room for advancement. There is no 401K, they cut it off years ago and failed to bring it back since. There no real human resources dept. Salary is not the greatest depending on what your doing. It's just enough to get by with bills. Little to no overtime.

Pros

Benefits, 401(k)..maybe pay depending on what you are coming in for. Good colleagues to work with once you get to know who they are.

Cons

Lack of promotion to anyone who has been there for a while. Promotion mostly goes to the company's favorites. Not trusted to do your job without micromanagement. CFO is involved in everything. Snobbish attitude, no matter how hard you work he always thinks you are not working hard enough. CEO hides behind HR and CFO and lets them do the dirty work while he pretends to be the good guy. He has zero problems with hard workers being let go. They want to make sure they get the "right" kind of people in the company and push everyone else out. Management has people working under a level of fear that no one speaks to each other. They have created a very quiet & toxic environment. Not a place to want to stay for long. Feels unwelcoming for a new hire. Very low moral but continues to push a " we're family first" company when it is the opposite. Even if you did nothing wrong they will still find a way to let you go.

Pros

Benefits, friendly co-workers, work-life balance if 9-5

Cons

Vet employees has been cast aside and fired since new management came on board. Zero loyalty to the ones who put in work over the years and are always looking for more ways to push all the vet employees out. New hires are making more coming in and being promoted 3 times before vet employee gets one solid promotion. You are stuck doing the same job for years with no appreciation and blocked from moving into anything else. Small company with zero growth potential. They just create new job title to fill what the CEO needs. Favoritism from the CEO as his "rockstar" if you are new and have a certain background. Push core values down your throat that they don't follow themselves but want to judge you endlessly on it. Pushes transparency but hires new people in secret. Management doesn't trust you to do your job. They have to double check everything that you do. People have left 7 months to a year after they have been hired because you are always under watch and not trusted to do what you are hired for. They must have control of everything. Endless meetings to go through what you are doing daily. Unnecessary stress when management or executives don't get what they want.
