I want to confirm what others have said: company is highly misogynistic. The CEO has a history of hiring his friends into top roles. These men are terrible at their jobs, treat women horribly, and the CEO only trusts their word.
During my interview, I asked about the negative reviews I'd read and was told they were just from "angry ex-employees". Once I joined, the same person admitted the reviews were true and regretted non believing them earlier. I also learned the company tried contacting Glassdoor to get those reviews taken down.
Women in particular face disrespect, not being believed, insulted in public and mistreated. If you ever ask for an apology, you won't get one; instead you'll be punished and made miserable. HR offers no protection either. In recent years, they've hired junior people into the department and they lack the courage or experience to stand up for employees. They're usually women as well so they have no power whatsoever.
This company has been around for over a decade and still calls itself a "startup" which says a lot about the outlook and the way that is managed.
Other than summer hours on Fridays, there are no other benefits: they never pay bonuses, insurance is one of the worst of my career.
