Pros
If you are a recent grad and would like to gain experience in the sales field great place to start. Dont expect this to be a long term career for yourself. As your thoughts and opinion will not matter the companies culter is managements way or no way.
Cons
Honestly nothing that I can say, besides the job it self and managing accounts. Management is VERY POOR and ruthless, they speak down to you as if you are a dummy. Low salary, commission is not good they keep on lower our percentage every year. No raise in 3 years. When you do ask for a raise in your yearly performance review and they simply tell you sell more thats your raise. You are also expected to pay for customer investments off your pay eg. dispensers as Purell Kruger GP etc. They will not tell you take up front in the interview process until you actually start work and see come off your commission. Also they can not tell you exactly what a territory is worth exactly when taking on over as previous employees may have had a great year in equipment or other sales does not mean they will repeat at all. We have gone through 7 National Account Managers in 3 years countless amount of Account Managers the doors keep on revolving You are required to fill out a report after each and every call they track you they expect you to be on the road for 8 hours and work from home in the evening to get quotes etc completed. Anyone with a family stay away you will end up like us looking for a job again. Like I have stated above if you are a recent grad/single and want to gain experience good place to start. Everyone that is still here is here because we havent found another job. We keep our heads up high roll with punches still we can say WE Quite.
