Pros

There is a “ it is what it is culture” so you don’t have to work hard at all.

Cons

Zero safety culture Incompetent management Incompetent engineering groups The company thrives on being mediocre at best, and relies on its operations group to pull everything together. If you’re a tradesmen with any education do not apply here. If you’re a under motivated person with a degree and want an office job with not a lot of responsibility this is a good fit.

Benefits are all around good

Cons

Management will push you down until you have no fight left. It doesn't matter how hard you work, if you ever stand up for yourself they will retaliate and make you feel 2 inches tall. Bullying is a horrible reality here I use to love saskenergy, I love what I do. But the management has become so poor that I hate coming to work.

Company retention tactics is questionable because once employees are trained up they leave for higher paying positions.
