Bad company for Bullying

Pros

Most staff are nice but not top level they are inept and self serving

Cons

Bullying. The Chief Operating Officer Lucy Edge continually bullies and harrasses staff. Nothing is being done about it. When this was raised by an employee they had to leave despite being the best thing to happen to this place for ages. This cannot continue. People should not work under such stress. Many are upset and no-one is helping those affected. Consider very carefully if you want ot work here in operations.

Rewarded for Failure

Pros

Working from home is better than being in the office. .

Cons

Before the Chief Peoples Officer, Kathryn Jeacock there was little turnover of staff and employees were not afraid to talk through issues. Chief Commercial Officer Alan Cox makes promises of promotion but this never happens. Chief People Officer Kathryn Jeacock promoted after a disastrous year where her actions saw people she disliked lose their jobs. Instead she is promoted and allowed time off to study. Chief Finance Officer, Richard Tuffill, failed to protect his staff from bullying and intimidation, when they complained they lost their jobs. Chief Ops Officer, Lucy Edge continues to malign and bully staff even from working from home. She is a nuisance and I am fed up of being spoken to like something on her shoe. Chief Executive Stuart Martyn oversees this mess and has done nothing about it and is ineffectual and weak.

Satellite Applications Catapult Response

Response from CEO, Stuart Martin - I am saddened to see such hurtful and personal comments. These allegations are entirely untrue, and the more serious of them have been fully investigated and proven to be unfounded. All members of the management team, as indeed any member of the Catapult team, will always have my full confidence and support when subject to false allegations via the anonymity of social media.

Pros

Nice atmosphere but hides a secret Good bonus scheme Pension contributions are good

Cons

Since the company lost its legal director who challenged management about bullying within the Catapult, morale is at its lowest and people do not respect those at the top. HR are untrustworthy and jealous employees preferred talking to the legal director than them. This is because HR don't help you if you raise a grievance, they do as they are told by management so are ineffective. The Catapult has lost a very very popular director who helped everyone at the organisation even their personal legal problems in her spare time. They have treated her appallingly and instead protected the bully. Outrageous.
