The team is supoer supportive and prioritizes well-being. The position allows you to support survivors through very difficult situations.

Vicarious trauma is common among staff as it requires a tremendous amount of empathy when interacting with people going through crises.

Good/Okay Job

Pros

This job is good because you have the ability to create your own schedule with a pay of ABOUT $20 an hour. They do offer holiday pay which is time and a half. The job itself is fairly easy, it is childcare while teaching about God (depending what church you are being assigned).

Cons

The employers get work days confused, pay get confused, sometimes they forget to pay you for a day so you need to remind them and keep track of your pay, communication could be better. Also are strict about calling out once confirmed for a job.
