Pros

1) salary payment on time 2) nice people in HR and Accounting 3) remote work benefits as flexible schedule

Cons

1) rude micromanaging CEO who won't say "thank you" or "good day" as he treats most his employees as if he gave them the best job on the market and now they owe him or something 2) no aspirations to write good quality software 3) minimum help from other developers as it's not a part of the culture - everyone is struggling in their own bubble 4) no paid sick/vacation days

We value your feedback and are sincerely sorry to hear that you had a negative experience working with us. As a large and growing company, we understand that different employees have different experiences here. We do offer extensive support and training to help our developers grow, but as a fully remote environment, we do depend on employees being proactive. We have a proven track record of high-quality software products, but this does not mean we are perfect – we are constantly striving to improve our software development life cycle, and encourage employees to get involved in this process. Once again, we are sorry to hear this was a poor experience for you, and wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Thank you for taking the time to review Scopic Software! We enjoyed working with you and appreciate your feedback. At Scopic, all employees are entitled to time off for holidays, vacation and sick days. Salaried employees receive paid time off as part of their contracts, while those who have an hourly contract can request unpaid time off at their discretion. Remote work itself requires good time management skills, multitasking and the ability to prioritize tasks according to their urgency. Being a large software development company, we work on different projects simultaneously, thus require our employees to be able to work efficiently and effectively under strict deadlines. Additionally, we truly appreciate the advice you have provided for our management team. Within the last 6 months, we have developed a standardized seniority policy to provide a more structured and clear career path for our employees. We value feedback from team members and are always working to improve our work environment. Once again, thank you very much for your review. We wish you success in all your future endeavors!

Pros

You can work on your underwear. They pay punctually. Plenty of projects to choose from. Good UX/UI , usability and user-side-bugs Quality Control Flexible hours. Work hard and you'll have a job for years. Amazing work-life balance. Extremely honest and nice CEO.

Cons

They tend to burn out developers if you don't make a stand and state your limits. Sometimes you finish a project and you have to wait weeks to get a new one and you wont get paid for that downtime. Only superiors review subordinates so bad superiors are never caught. Superiors often have zero technical knowledge so you need to explain software limitations as you would explain to a user and even then they reject your knowledge. There is no Security Quality Control on software, so is up to the developer to write secure apps and websites.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience! It is our pleasure to have you on the Scopic team. Please, note that we never exceed the limits when asking our employees to work on any project and task. We always set reasonable and realistic workloads for each of our employees. Thus, we would encourage you to always provide the management team with feedback on your workload, so that they can assess the situation properly. We would also ask you to always report your idleness or the possibility of you going idle in any near future, for the management team to be able to immediately provide you with more tasks to work on. Once again, thank you for taking the time to review Scopic Software and provide with advice for the management team. We value feedback from team members and are always working to improve our work environment.
